“Improvement in the preparedness activity of the Russian economy” conference.
October 17, 2013: the Academy of Civil Protection held a meeting dedicated to improving the preparedness activity of the Russian economy. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Government of the Russian Federation, Ivan Harchenko, director of the State Department of the Russian Federation for Support of Military-Industrial Commission, Sergey Hutortsev, head of Chief Directorate of Special Presidential Programs, Dmitry Ryzhkov, Director of Organisational and Mobilisation Department of the Ministry of Emergencies, Igor Sergeyev, head of the Defense Ministry, Viktor Glotov, head of city of Himki administration Oleg Shahov and other executives. Participants learnt about cutting-edge examples of special machinery, protective equipment, fire-rescue equipment and suits, modern aviation technology and new elements of fire and technical equipment. At the meeting organised in the lobby of the exhibition ARTI- Factory presented its latest product PMK-S respirator, which passed the state tests in the prescribed manner. Numerous questions from participants about the characteristics of the product and its advantages over other gas masks were answered by ARTI’s marketing director Kirk P. E.
